Join Mendix as a Senior Full-stack Developer - Mobile
Mendix is a leading enterprise low-code application development platform that enables organizations to create modern, flexible applications quickly. We are looking for a Senior Full-stack Developer with a focus on mobile development to join our team in Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands.
About the Role
As a Senior Full-stack Developer at Mendix, you will be part of the team responsible for the framework that runs our mobile apps and facilitates publishing these apps into the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This role involves working in a low-code environment to ensure a smooth experience for non-technical users. You will be part of the Client group, which focuses on building great end-user experiences from design time to runtime for web and mobile.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile applications using web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native.
- Work with mobile CI/CD tools like Xcode, Android Studio, and Fastlane to streamline the app development process.
- Collaborate with business users and developers to enhance the application development lifecycle.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of your work, understanding its impact on others.
Qualifications
- At least 6 years of work experience in software development.
- Expertise in web technologies, particularly JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native.
- Experience or strong interest in the mobile ecosystem.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD processes and tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, and Fastlane.
- Ability to simplify complex problems for others.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with native mobile development (iOS or Android).
- Knowledge of Progressive Web Applications (PWAs).
- Experience with C#/.NET.
- Familiarity with test frameworks like Jest, WebdriverIO, or Selenium.
