About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, California. This is a key early hire position where you will be instrumental in designing and implementing the core customer-facing onboard experience and supporting infrastructure for the Navier 27.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and test onboard user interfaces for displaying and visualizing vessel and navigation data.
- Interface with control and autonomy modules to enable seamless user interaction.
- Enable cloud connectivity and build solutions for handling large volumes of data streamed to and from the cloud.
- Tackle early challenges such as data management infrastructure, over-the-air update infrastructure, and user-facing interfaces.
- Bridge autonomy systems with higher-level infrastructure.
About You
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Familiarity with the full development cycle, from defining requirements and selecting technologies to implementation and testing.
- Experience in developing consumer-facing connected hardware-software products (e.g., automotive infotainment, consumer electronics).
- Passion for creating delightful user experiences.
- Ability to work autonomously and solve challenging, loosely defined problems.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment and spending time on a boat for real-world testing.
