About the Role
Flywheel Digital is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Berlin. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within a greenfield marketplace, driving innovation and maintaining our best-in-class global software platform.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop robust, high-quality sustainable code.
- Maintain existing applications, pipelines, and functionality.
- Manage technical debt and participate in technical projects.
- Engage in technical discussions to continuously improve our platforms.
- Plan projects with your team from concept through development to deployment.
- Mitigate problems with innovative ideas, code, and technical solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends and developments in web application frameworks and related technologies.
Who You Are
- Experienced with backend frameworks, preferably Java or Node.js.
- Skilled in frontend development with JavaScript and modern frameworks like React.
- Knowledgeable in distributed system design, deployment, and operations, preferably with AWS.
- Able to write clear, secure, and scalable code within a Java application stack.
- Passionate about product and feature development, with a strong emphasis on UI/UX designs.
- Experienced in creating web application wireframes and mockups.
- Understanding of security fundamentals and experience using encryption keys and controls.

The Interview Process
- Initial call with Talent Acquisition to assess fit and technical skills.
- Further assessments may include a Take Home Assignment/Case Study Presentation or Pair Programming/Live Coding exercise.
