Senior Full-Stack Engineer - LLM and Go

Job Overview

Join FactSet as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer specializing in LLM and Go. You will be part of the Institutional Buy Side SBU, focusing on developing products that position FactSet as a leading technology partner for the Analytics investment community. The Middle Office group is seeking a talented engineer to join a team dedicated to building, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions that provide Portfolio Commentary across all client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Design, implement, test, document, maintain, and enhance high-quality code.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management and other engineers within the PAR engineering team. Collaborate with Machine Learning, DMW, PIE, and other teams to integrate recommended technology and enhance best practices.
• Technical Leadership: Advocate for and further GenAI requirements for PA3 and other PAR applications and processes.
• Best Practices: Follow best practices such as code reviews, testing, documentation, and version control.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting.
• Project Management: Set milestones for self and report on the progress and evolution of tasks and projects.
• Product Development: Collaborate with other engineering leaders to build best-in-class products and services.
• Technical Debt: Balance and accelerate work towards technical debt reduction while delivering client-facing products.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with PD and stakeholders to identify and prioritize work that provides the greatest value, both immediate and long-term.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with Go and Protocol Buffers for a minimum of 1+ years.
• 1+ years of experience using LLMs and with prompt engineering, Databricks, and MLFlow.

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing web services.
• Experience with Agile development.
• Knowledge of Portfolio Analysis and attribution models.
• Experience with web technologies, including Vue.js and AngularJS.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or a related major.

Salary

The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of California, Connecticut, and New York is €140,000 - €185,000.
