Senior Full Stack Engineer (Clojure, Go)

About the Role

Liftoff Mobile is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Dash team. This team is crucial to the success of our Accelerate teams, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining powerful dashboards that enable seamless campaign management and in-depth analytics. These dashboards serve not only our internal teams but also our external clients, delivering critical insights and data that drive performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Project Ownership: Take full responsibility for projects, collaborating with a small team of world-class engineers with diverse backgrounds.
Frequent Code Deployment: Ship code multiple times a day and see its impact on millions of users and our business's revenue.
Engineering Excellence: Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence through state-of-the-art tools, risk-driven testing, explainable systems, and code review.
Technology Expertise: Become an authority in Clojure, Go, and other cutting-edge open-source technologies that maximize our development velocity.

Requirements

Strong Coding Ability: Demonstrated proficiency in multiple programming languages.
Core CS Fundamentals: Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system architecture.
Quality and Perfection: Strive for excellence while knowing when to balance it with the need to ship.
Team Player: Willing to set ego aside to find the best solutions.
Self-motivated: Driven to succeed and able to hustle.
Full-Stack Excitement: Enthusiastic about working on all stack parts (UI, backend, operations, data analysis).
Educational Background: B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Experience: 4+ years in software engineering.
Bonus: Experience with Machine Learning and building large distributed systems.

Compensation and Benefits

Liftoff offers a competitive compensation package that includes equity and health/vision/dental benefits. The base salary for this role varies by location:

SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County: $155,000 - $195,000
Seattle/Olympia, Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston: $140,000 - $180,000
All other cities and towns in our approved states: $130,000 - $170,000
