Atlassian is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is fully remote, based in Poland, and offers a unique opportunity to impact our engineering teams by delivering creative improvements.

Your Future Team
You will be part of a unified R&D team that prioritizes initiatives supporting our customers' transition to the cloud while continuing to enhance our core product suite, including Jira, Confluence, Trello, and Bitbucket. We aim to build a 100-year company with a world-class engineering organization, and you can be a pivotal part of this vision.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features and capabilities daily in a highly scalable, cross-geo distributed environment.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers, architects, product managers, and designers in an open and collaborative work environment.
- Review code with considerations for best practices in readability, testing, documentation, reliability, security, and performance.
- Mentor and enhance the skills of your teammates through knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Ensure complete visibility, error reporting, and monitoring of high-performing backend services.
- Participate in Agile software development cycles, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and demo sessions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend application development.
- Proficiency in crafting and implementing highly scalable and performant RESTful microservices.
- Expertise in modern object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, or Python.
- Experience with database technologies (RDBMS like Oracle or Postgres and NoSQL like DynamoDB or Cassandra).
- Passion for collaboration and a broad understanding of the SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS industry with hands-on experience in public cloud offerings (AWS, GAE, Azure).
