Comprising individuals with diverse backgrounds in various languages, stacks, and business types, the team leverages extensive data to conduct experiments across all core Atlassian products. These experiments aim to highlight the benefits of paid tiers and reduce user friction.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Combine product, business, customer insights, and deep engineering knowledge to develop simple solutions for complex problems.
- Maintain excellent operational and engineering health across systems and experiments.
- Introduce and enhance the adoption of new technologies and experimentation best practices.
- Collaborate with architects across Atlassian to align technical strategies and understand platform consumer needs.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to align technical approaches with business needs and strategic directions.
Qualifications
Your Background
- Experience in an experimentation and data-driven environment.
- Proficiency in SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and hands-on experience with public cloud offerings like AWS.
- Over 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years in implementing high-volume, low-latency distributed systems.
- Understanding of the interplay between technical decisions, people, and processes over long timescales.
