Your Future Team
Join our world-class Data Engineering team to influence product teams, inform our Data Science and Analytics Platform teams, and partner closely with data consumers and producers. Your work will ensure the quality and usefulness of our data assets, helping to understand and improve product experience and engagement, optimize efficiency and costs, and drive strategy.
Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer, you will have a range of responsibilities:
- Defining metrics
- Instrumenting logging
- Acquiring/ingesting data
- Architecting & modeling data
- Transforming data
- Ensuring data quality, governance, and enablement
- Alerting, visualization, and reporting
- Developing at scale and improving efficiency
- Working autonomously and adding perspective to the team
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Masters degree in a STEM field
- 2+ Years of Experience in Data Engineering or related fields
- Expertise in Python or other modern programming languages
- Advanced SQL and relational databases experience
- Solid ETL, Data modeling, Data Quality, and Data Visualization/Dashboarding skills
Additional/Desirable Qualifications:
- 4+ Years of Experience in Data Engineering or related fields OR 2+ Years of experience in Data Engineering with a post-graduate degree
- Understanding of the SaaS business model and data structures
- Experience in Enterprise Software product development
