Job Overview
Join Postman as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer focused on the API Client. This role is pivotal in enhancing the core product experience of Postman, a leading API platform used by over 30 million developers worldwide. You will be part of a team that is responsible for the engine enabling users to send and debug requests across various protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Delight the Developer: Engage closely with developers to deliver features that address long-standing requests and enhance the core product experience.
- Simplify Request Sending and Debugging: Streamline the user experience by simplifying complex features and progressively disclosing advanced functionalities.
- Build the Multi-Protocol Future: Integrate new request protocols like GraphQL, gRPC, and Websockets into the Postman experience.
- Own and Deliver: Take ownership of delivering improvements to the API client, focusing on simplicity and iterative value.
- Collaborate Across Boundaries: Work with team members across the US and India to streamline processes and enhance collaboration.
About You
- Experience: 3+ years in full stack development with a strong track record of delivering impactful user experiences.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React or Next.js.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential for this remote-first team.
- Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering a delightful product experience.
- Customer Obsession: Ability to leverage customer feedback to drive decision-making and product improvements.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with React applications and state management tools like MobX.

Location
