About the Role
Postman is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of Postman Insights. This is a unique opportunity to work on an 0-1 initiative aimed at helping developers quickly identify and resolve API issues. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will be responsible for both frontend and backend development, ensuring a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop New Capabilities: Work on both frontend and backend to enhance the Postman Insights product, focusing on improving user experience.
- Prototype and Iterate: Quickly prototype, experiment, and iterate on core product features to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate: Work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to spec, build, test, and deliver new features efficiently.
- Architectural Contributions: Contribute to architectural and design decisions, particularly for the Postman Insights Agent, ensuring scalability and performance.
About You
- Experience: 5+ years of software development experience with a strong track record of delivering user-facing products.
- Skills: Proficient in both frontend and backend development, with a good grasp of scaling and data processing.
- Product Sense: Understands user needs and can work with designers to make well-scoped plans for achieving user goals.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential as we are a distributed engineering team.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: €177,000 to €208,000 per year
- Equity: Competitive equity package

Location
This role is based in the greater San Francisco Bay area, with a substantial overlap with the Pacific Time Zone required.
