Join Mentimeter as a Senior FullStack Engineer
Mentimeter is seeking a talented and experienced Senior FullStack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Stockholm, Sweden. As a Senior FullStack Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our interactive presentation platform, which transforms passive audiences into engaged contributors.
About the Role
In this role, you will be part of one of our cross-functional product teams, working closely with other engineers, a Product Manager, a Product Designer, and an Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for implementing designs and user experiences that impact millions of users worldwide. We are looking for someone who is not only skilled in coding but also enjoys engaging in product and design discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver value to our customers and users by developing high-quality software solutions.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, helping them grow as developers and engineers.
- Participate in the entire product development process, from breaking down designs into feasible work to writing and testing code.
- Work collaboratively in a mob programming environment, contributing to both back-end and front-end development.
Who You Are
- You have at least 8 years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong understanding of product development.
- You hold a master’s degree in a relevant engineering field (preferred).
- You are a reliable, high-performing individual contributor with excellent communication skills.
- You have a passion for software development, scalable architecture, and building great products.
- You are interested in testing and automation, and you care about code quality.
- You have experience with React (Next.js and TypeScript) and are willing to learn Ruby if not already familiar.
