Job Description
Orion Innovation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Fullstack Java Developer with React to join our dynamic team in Coral Springs, Florida. As a leading digital transformation and product development services firm, we are committed to solving complex business problems for our clients through innovative solutions rooted in digital strategy, experience design, and engineering.
Responsibilities
- Software Design and Development: Engage in software design and development using Java/J2EE, React, and other full-stack technologies. Implement coding standards and procedures, and maintain high-quality software development standards.
- Testing and Debugging: Create and execute test plans and cases based on requirements and design specifications. Debug and troubleshoot to maintain and improve existing software.
- Collaboration and Support: Work within a scrum team to support the development of high-quality software. Contribute to code quality and support technical design decisions through validation and prototyping.
- DevOps and Continuous Improvement: Promote a DevOps culture and identify continuous improvements to the development practice. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Gitlab.
- Technical Leadership: Provide high-level design and technical solutions for new change requests and projects. Coordinate with offshore teams for deliverables, including peer reviews and documentation.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of practical experience in full-stack development with Java/J2EE, React, and Spring Boot. Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, OpenShift, and AWS.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Skills: Strong client-facing skills, understanding of software development patterns, object-oriented design principles, and coding techniques.
- DevOps: Practical experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Maven, and SonarQube.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience in Agile Software Development methodologies, including Scrum.
Preferred Qualifications
- Snowflake Development: Experience with Snowflake development.
- Test-Driven Development: Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
