Keelvar is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full-stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team. This is a remote position, open to candidates based in Ireland, Germany, the UK, Spain, or the US. We are also open to applications from independent contractors in Canada or South America.

About the Role

As a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer, you will report to one of our Engineering Managers and work within a cross-functional team. Your primary responsibility will be to support and develop new and existing features for our autonomous sourcing product. You will collaborate with engineers from various backgrounds, including Software Development, QA, Machine Learning, Data Science, UI, and Product Design.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a cross-functional development team to analyze product feature requests and design solutions.
• Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of our web applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, security, and reliability.
• Write unit tests and ensure the quality of your code.
• Review code and designs from colleagues.
• Investigate and resolve issues.
• Deploy code and monitor the services you are responsible for.
• Ensure a quality-first approach in all development activities.
• Work closely with the Product team to understand and deliver on customer needs and goals.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the success of our fast-paced, rapidly growing organization.

Your Profile

• Strong proficiency and at least 5 years of experience in full-stack software development, ideally with SaaS solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and working in an agile, product-led environment.
• Experience designing distributed services that communicate in a fault-tolerant manner using RESTful and message-driven APIs.
• Proficiency in Python and Vue (or Angular). Familiarity with Django is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud services (mainly AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Passionate about writing clean, testable code and familiar with common software design patterns.
• Self-motivated, driven, and enjoys setting and exceeding goals.
• Innovative thinker who enjoys solving problems creatively and quickly.
