About the Team
Join our dynamic Samsung Ads team as a Senior Golang Developer. You will be a key player in developing and expanding components of Samsung’s DSP platform. Collaborate with our local team in Warsaw and engage with remote teams across the globe, including the US, Korea, India, and the UK. Your expertise will be crucial in building modern, high-performance services to deliver targeted ads to our users.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Backend Applications: Develop robust backend solutions using Golang and other technologies.
- Participate in R&D Projects: Engage in research and development projects focusing on Cloud Services.
- Establish and Follow Best Coding Practices: Ensure high-quality code through best practices and standards.
- Ensure Software Quality: Create and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests. Participate in code reviews.
- Report Task Progress: Keep the team updated on task progress and challenges.
Technologies in Use
- Programming Languages: Golang, Java, Spring, Python
- Containerization and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
- Cloud Services: AWS
- Data Protocols: HTTP/1.1/2.0, RESTful API, gRPC
- Databases: SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, MySQL)
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: At least 3 years of commercial experience in developing with Golang.
- Protocols and Data Exchange: Knowledge of HTTP, RESTful API, gRPC.
- Database Technologies: Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Methodologies: Experience with TDD/BDD methodologies.
- Design Patterns: Strong understanding of design patterns.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English for communication and technical documentation.
- Education: University degree in Computer Sciences, Telecommunication, or similar.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Ruby/Rails and Erlang/Elixir.
- Knowledge of web software libraries like React/TypeScript.
- Experience with AWS and microservices/serverless solutions.
- Familiarity with security solutions for web applications/services (OAuth2/JWT).
