Join Our Team as a Senior Software Engineer
Adtran is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Gdynia, Poland. You will be working on our innovative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product, Mosaic One, which is a cloud-based system that aggregates information from various platforms to provide targeted workflows and AI-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Participate in the design and development of the Mosaic One SaaS product. Assist in the design and development of CI pipeline infrastructure to support build and test requirements.
- Software Implementation: Perform high-level and low-level software design and implementation of new modules and enhancements to existing software.
- Feasibility Studies: Conduct feasibility studies for software development needs.
- Documentation: Document design features and architecture.
- Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in design and code reviews.
- Testing: Plan and perform unit and system-level testing of software modules and enhancements. Help fix software bugs found during testing phases.
- Deployment: Work with the team to deploy and test incremental software releases.
- Coordination: Organize and coordinate development activities within schedule and product constraints.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 6 years of active experience in software design, implementation, and debugging.
- Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering.
- Experience with Python and testing tools such as pyTest.
- Experience with Test Driven Development and Unit Test Frameworks.
- Excellent teamwork abilities.
- At least B1 English proficiency level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python3 and cloud deployments such as AWS.
- Familiarity with Ethernet and networking protocols.
- Experience with coding and scripting in Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, CloudFormation/SAM.
