Job Overview
Join our innovative and international team as a Senior Google Cloud Developer. In this role, you will take on the responsibility of a Technical Lead, driving the realization of innovative cloud applications in areas such as IoT, AI, Analytics, BI, Portals, and Apps. You will be involved in the design, development, and integration of cloud-native software applications using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), microservices, container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Knative, GKE, Cloud Run, and serverless applications with Cloud Functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of cloud-native applications on GCP.
- Utilize microservices and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement serverless applications using Cloud Functions.
- Apply DevOps principles, including Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Mentor and guide young professionals within the team.
- Define requirements in collaboration with clients from various industries such as Energy, Automotive, and Telecoms.
- Ensure smooth project operations by applying DevOps principles.
- Develop full-stack software solutions and take technical responsibility throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a developer with significant exposure to cloud technologies.
- Expertise in programming languages and scripting tools such as GoLang, Rust, Java/JavaEE, JavaScript (including React, Angular), Node.js, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Strong interest in cloud technologies, with GCP experience/certifications being a plus.
- Initial experience in Big Data, IoT, AI, Cognitive Services, Machine/Deep Learning, or Cyber Security is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
