Role Overview
As a Senior Backend Developer Big Data at Reply, you will lead backend development initiatives and offer your expertise to design and implement robust backend systems for our clients. You will be responsible for high-quality software solutions and will work closely with other business systems and third-party services.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of backend developers.
- Architecture Design: Design powerful and scalable backend systems.
- Advanced Development: Handle complex aspects of backend development, including critical updates and innovations.
- Strategic Consulting: Serve as a strategic partner to key stakeholders, advising on technology trends, best practices, and potential business impacts.
- Client Interaction: Regularly interact with clients, understand their needs, and translate them into technical solutions. Manage expectations and communicate effectively both technically and non-technically.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a backend developer in past projects.
- Proficient in programming with Java, Kotlin, or Scala and experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Quarkus, Gradle, or Vertex.
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Demonstrated ability to handle client interactions and present complex ideas to stakeholders.
- Fluent in German and English.
