Join AUTODOC, a leading E-commerce platform for automotive spare parts in Europe, as a Senior Software Architect. Responsibilities
- Maintain an overarching view of the existing architecture of our Autodoc services.
- Provide technical advisory and support teams on the migration from PHP monoliths to a new microservice architecture.
- Support the design and review of technical solutions for high-load, high-traffic, and fast response time environments.
- Provide expert-level support and technical mentoring to the teams.
- Contribute to establishing governance processes and guidelines around the domains and microservices.
- Drive Autodoc from a technical perspective and keep current with new technologies.
- Collaborate with multiple interdisciplinary teams within Autodoc to understand the business context and create scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in software development, supporting the design and development of large-scale, distributed software applications.
- Profound knowledge of OOP and SOLID principles.
- Proven experience as a software architect.
- High-quality organizational and leadership skills.
- Technical mindset with great attention to detail.
- Experience with microservices and cloud architectures, specifically Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of architecture/design methods and patterns, data and API specifications, quality assurance, and testing methods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- English intermediate (B1) level proficiency.
