Epidemic Sound is on a mission to soundtrack the world, and we are looking for a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Stockholm. As a key player in our engineering department, you will be instrumental in enhancing our product's search and discovery capabilities through advanced machine learning techniques.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
- Lead the Development of ML Solutions: You will take charge of projects from ideation to production, building prototypes, conducting experiments, and operationalizing solutions at scale.
- Enhance User Experience: Work on improving the search and discovery features of our product, including semantic and audio-similarity-based search, recommender systems, and music tagging.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Foster a curious and explorative culture within a collaborative environment, driving projects to success with your team.
- Mentor and Guide: Coach and mentor team members and staff from other teams, sharing your expertise in machine learning and software development.
Who You Are
We are looking for someone with:
- A strong background in Computer Science and Machine Learning, with proven results in industry or academia.
- Experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, particularly in advanced stages of development.
- Proficiency in architecting, developing, deploying, and monitoring software systems, preferably using Python.
- Experience in building search products and adapting/fine-tuning foundation models to downstream applications.
- Knowledge of Music Information Retrieval (MIR) methods, especially using modern architectures.
