Overview

As a Senior AI Audio Researcher, you will be part of the Advanced Technology Group (ATG), the research and technology arm of the company, which focuses on audio, video, and augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR) technologies. This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden, and offers a hybrid work setup.
Role and Responsibilities

Research and Development: You will focus on the creation and implementation of audio and multimedia signal processing technologies from the underlying theoretical concepts to the development of prototypes and demonstrators. Your work will contribute to creating new experiences and exploring new horizons in the fields of audio and multimedia signal processing and AI/ML-based generation/processing/synthesis.

Team Collaboration: As part of an international team of world-leading experts on audio, signal processing, perception, and application of AI/ML in the audio domain, you will create key innovations for Dolby’s core business. This collaboration will enable Dolby and its customers to build products that push the boundaries of sound and multimedia experiences.

Skill Application: Apply your skills in projects on sound source capture, coding, audio enhancement, and playback. You should be eager to apply your skills in these areas to make a commercial impact.
Qualifications

Education: Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on digital signal processing.

Experience: Relevant research and/or development experience in AI/ML, audio signal processing, video coding, multimedia streaming, and data analytics.

Technical Skills: Excellent programming skills in MATLAB, C/C++, and Python. Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as Pytorch and TensorFlow for the development of models for deep learning.

Communication: Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
