Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Subscription Experience Team within the Growth domain. This role offers a unique blend of technical expertise, business awareness, and user-centricity. The team’s mission is to enable the world's creators to find offerings that fit their needs and develop tools and features that allow them to grow.
Responsibilities
- Leadership and Team Management: You will be responsible for the team's motivation and performance, ensuring the delivery of technically sound solutions that contribute to product success and a healthy technical platform.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Manager and Design Lead to manage 5-10 developers, supporting their growth and ensuring continuous delivery and process improvement.
- Advocacy: Promote effective software development practices, empower the team to focus on the right problems, and collaborate with the product manager to achieve team goals.
- Development and Mentoring: Develop engineers through coaching and mentoring, conduct regular 1:1s, set goals, and provide feedback to support their growth.
- Inclusion and Efficiency: Continuously work to improve inclusion and belonging within the team and the organization, ensuring high levels of teamwork, transparency, and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong technical background in engineering, ideally with full-stack development experience.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in leading agile teams and facilitating technical decision-making.
- Passion for building great products and making technology choices that align with end goals.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to address issues with empathy and transparency.
- Professional proficiency in English; Swedish is not required.
