Your Mission
Develop and maintain web applications primarily using PHP and the Laravel framework, focusing on crafting high-quality, scalable solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design, and implement new features and functionality. Write testable, efficient, and reusable code by applying best practices in coding standards and participating actively in code reviews with peers. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols to safeguard all applications. Uphold high standards of code integrity and organization throughout the development lifecycle. Stay at the forefront of web technology trends and innovations to continuously improve our practices and products.
Your Profile
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in PHP development and 2 years with the Laravel framework, demonstrating a deep understanding of the ecosystem. Proficiency in PHPUnit or Pest within a Test-Driven Development (TDD) environment. Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Model-View-Controller (MVC) principles, and the development of RESTful APIs. Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment. Will be a plus: Experience leveraging cloud services, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS). Skills in Docker and other containerization technologies. Experience with Stripe or other similar payment system integrations. Knowledge of OAuth and other authentication technologies. German language proficiency at level B1 or higher.
