Job Overview
Suvoda is seeking a Senior Python AI Developer II to join our team in Bucharest, Romania. This role is pivotal in developing AI applications that enhance our clinical trial software solutions. We are open to both local and fully remote candidates across Romania.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support clinical trial software with a focus on patient safety and data integrity.
- Assist in creating technical design and implementation documentation.
- Design and code software applications, fixing defects as needed.
- Provide unit testing coverage for delivered code.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality code.
- Assist the support team with troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Python programming for industrial-grade production applications.
- Extensive experience with OOP principles and building modular applications.
- Experience using Python concurrent programming styles & techniques.
- Experience with SQL databases & mapping libraries.
- Building REST APIs for backend applications using FastAPI, Django, or similar technologies.
- Ability to design, develop, and support software modules with medium to high complexity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and learning capability.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Nice To Have
- Experience with other programming languages, such as C# or Java.
- Experience building RAG applications using LangChain or Semantic Kernel.
- Embedding, chunking, and vectorizing enterprise data sources for use with LLMs.
- Training and fine-tuning LLMs.
- Use of open-source LLMs.
