About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-value and performance services with architects from an early phase of the product, leveraging your expertise in Python and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable APIs using FastAPI.
- Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Work with SQL databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
- Utilize Alembic and SQLAlchemy for database migrations and ORM management.
- Utilize PuLP to solve optimization problems.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment with constantly changing requirements.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Contribute to code reviews, ensuring best practices and coding standards are upheld.
Job Requirements
- Strong experience in Python development (5-8 years experience).
- Proficient in FastAPI for building APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
- Experience with Alembic for database migrations and SQLAlchemy for ORM.
- Familiarity with PuLP for optimization tasks.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with frequent changes and ambiguity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the energy domain.
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of other Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
