Senior React Developer with Python Expertise (MedTech)

Overview

Sigma IT Poland is seeking a Senior React Developer with Python expertise to join our MedTech team. This role involves full-stack development with a focus on front-end technologies, primarily React.js, and backend support using Python. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with significant experience in both front-end and back-end development.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using React.js and Python.
Ensure the integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Implement responsive UI components and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Participate in code reviews and maintain standard coding practices.
Work closely with the product team to define feature specifications and build the next generation of products.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on front-end technologies.
Proficient in React.js and familiar with its core principles.
Hands-on experience with Python and its web frameworks.
Strong understanding of SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
Experience with Linux/Unix and Bash scripting.
Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills

Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with image processing technologies.
Knowledge of OpenAPI, GitHub Actions, FastAPI, and Kubernetes.
