Senior Full-stack Developer (Python, Django, React.js, Next.js)

About the Role

As a Senior Full-stack Developer at Axmed, you will take a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our healthcare marketplace platform. You will be responsible for the full-stack development, from user interface design to backend logic and database management. This role requires a deep understanding of both frontend and backend technologies, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Development: Develop pixel-perfect user interfaces from Figma designs using Next.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Backend Development: Implement server-side logic and microservices/APIs using Django for seamless communication between the frontend and backend.
• Database Management: Build and maintain PostgreSQL databases, optimizing queries for performance and ensuring data integrity and security.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the CTO and cross-functional teams to design a strong and sustainable architecture for the long-term success of the platform.
• Troubleshooting: Debug issues across the technology stack to ensure the reliability and performance of web applications.
• Code Quality: Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Technology Leadership: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in web development, implementing them when appropriate.

Who We Are Looking For

• Experienced Developers: You should have at least 4 years of professional experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on backend development using Django and Python.
• Skilled in Frontend Technologies: Experience with front-end libraries/frameworks, ideally React, and a proven track of delivering microservices-based applications.
• Cloud Computing: Previous experience with cloud computing services for modern web application development, ideally AWS.
• CI/CD Experience: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and tools, such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
• Containerization Technologies: Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or similar technologies is a plus.
• Passionate about Healthcare: A passion for the mission of improving healthcare equity is crucial.

Additional Qualifications

• Excellent command of the English language. Knowledge of other languages, especially French, is an asset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for writing clean, efficient code.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
