Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Developer, you will:
- Architect and develop complex new features and enhance existing ones.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to junior developers.
- Assist in planning and tracking of projects.
- Engage in R&D, design, development, and support activities.
- Utilize your expertise in Java and Web technologies to improve customer experiences and product iterations.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Extensive experience in software development with leadership roles.
- Proficiency in backend technologies like Java, scripting, and enterprise object storage (S3).
- Frontend development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and SOAP web services.
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes/RedHat OpenShift.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience in cloud environments (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and relational database expertise (Postgres, DB2, Oracle).
- Knowledge of software security and testing frameworks (Junit, Selenium, Robot framework).
