Introduction
IBM is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Mulhuddart, Dublin. This role is crucial for enhancing our FileNet Content Manager (FNCM) capabilities, a comprehensive ECM solution that manages complex documents and streamlines business processes.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Developer, you will:
- Architect and develop complex new features and enhance existing ones.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Engage in full-spectrum engineering activities, including R&D, design, development, and support.
- Utilize your expertise in Java and Web technologies to improve customer experiences and product iterations.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Extensive experience in software development, with a focus on leading teams.
- Proficiency in Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Python.
- Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs, SOAP web services.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and RedHat OpenShift environments.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Experience with testing frameworks like Junit, Selenium, and Robot framework.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with relational databases (Postgres, DB2, Oracle).
