Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Developer, you will:
- Be part of a team using the latest tools and technologies.
- Architect and develop complex new features and enhance existing ones.
- Engage in the full spectrum of engineering activities, including R&D, technical architecture design, development, and support.
- Utilize your expertise in Java and Web technologies to improve customer experiences and product iterations.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Extensive experience in software development with Java and Web technologies.
- Proficiency in backend technologies such as scripting, Windows, Linux, WebSphere, and LDAP repositories.
- Frontend development skills, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Python.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and SOAP web services.
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes/RedHat OpenShift.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with relational databases (Postgres, DB2, Oracle).
- Understanding of software security principles.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Knowledge of Generative AI, including LLM, embedding models, and vector databases.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global team environment.
