Overview
Join Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, a leader in musical instrument manufacturing, as a Senior Software Engineer, Applications in Hamburg, Germany. This role is pivotal in developing software solutions that integrate seamlessly with our audio hardware product line, enhancing music production on multiple platforms including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the software team lead and other developers to design and develop cross-platform application software.
- Engage in regular communication with QA, Product Owners, and Product Designers to ensure alignment and quality.
- Design, improve, and implement application software that meets the technical requirements and challenges of our products.
- Participate in the development and implementation of company-wide software design concepts and guidelines.
- Maintain continuous communication with development and QA groups, as well as product management.
- Work closely with team members to refine requirements for software development.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software design and development.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills, particularly in C++.
- Experience with VST/AU plug-in technologies is beneficial.
- Proficiency with software development tools such as Visual Studio, XCode, Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Background in music production and audio technology, as well as knowledge of music production software and software instruments, is advantageous.
