Job Description
Amazon Music is seeking a talented Front End Engineer to join our team in Culver City, California. As a Front End Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing new social features and capabilities for Amazon Music customers, enabling them to express themselves and connect with their favorite music and creators. You will be part of a team that values innovation and quality, working in a fast-paced environment to deliver engaging customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineers to design and implement innovative customer experiences.
- Contribute to all aspects of the agile software development lifecycle, including design, architecture, development, documentation, testing, and operations.
- Communicate technical feasibility and alternative solutions when roadblocks are encountered.
- Build and deliver production-quality user experiences that are secure, accessible, maintainable, scalable, performant, and operationally excellent.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in front end, web, or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, complexity analysis, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building performant cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and GraphQL.
- Working knowledge of iOS, Android, MacOS, Windows, Linux, and Web platforms.

Compensation
The base pay for this position ranges from €129,300 to €223,600 per year, depending on market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a total compensation package, which may include equity, sign-on payments, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
