Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, a world-renowned brand, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Applications to join our dynamic software team in Hamburg, Germany. This role is pivotal in developing innovative software solutions that integrate seamlessly with our audio hardware product line, enhancing music production on platforms such as Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the software team lead and other developers to design and develop cross-platform application software.
- Engage in regular communication with QA, Product Owners, and Product Designers to ensure alignment and quality.
- Design, improve, and implement application software that meets company-wide design concepts and guidelines.
- Work closely with development and QA teams, as well as product management, to refine software requirements and ensure successful implementation.
- Participate actively in the development and implementation of software design concepts and guidelines.
Qualifications
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in software design and development.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills in C++.
- Familiarity with VST/AU plug-in technologies is advantageous.
- Proficiency with development tools such as Visual Studio, XCode, Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Fluent in both German and English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Background in music production and audio technology is beneficial.
