About the Role
As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at Warner Music Group, you will be pivotal in reimagining and implementing the future of technology for the music industry. You will work as part of a dynamic and highly effective team, owning the creation and delivery of highly innovative products. This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow professionally through close collaboration with team members and engineering leaders, and by being part of a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Responsibilities
- Owning, defining the technical vision, and driving innovation for key technical systems in your area of ownership.
- Writing clean, optimized, and reusable code.
- Delivering work following established standards and best practices, such as test automation, test coverage, etc.
- Creating clear, comprehensive technical design documents.
- Mentoring more junior engineers.
- Collaborating closely with key music industry stakeholders as well as colleagues in NYC, Los Angeles, and London.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in a software development company as a Software Engineer.
- Ability to drive the optimal and efficient design and implementation of complex technical systems which span multiple teams.
- Experience in writing or refactoring code with maintainability and optimization in mind, improving test coverage, and making sound design tradeoff decisions.
- Ability to write comprehensive technical designs for complex systems, which clearly communicate technical tradeoffs and assumptions.
- Bias towards action, and ability to deliver better solutions more efficiently.
- Empathetic team member who works well in a team environment and communicates effectively.
