Key Responsibilities
- Technical Vision and Innovation: Own, define, and drive innovation for key technical systems in your area of ownership.
- Code Quality: Write clean, optimized, and reusable code, ensuring high test coverage and adherence to best practices.
- Technical Design: Create clear, comprehensive technical design documents that communicate technical tradeoffs and assumptions.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Collaboration: Work closely with key music industry stakeholders and colleagues across NYC, Los Angeles, and London.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with degrees in Physics or Mathematics with relevant experience are also considered.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a software development company.
- Front-End Expertise: Proficiency in front-end development with React.
- System Design: Ability to design and implement complex technical systems spanning multiple teams.
- Code Optimization: Experience in writing or refactoring code with maintainability and optimization in mind.
- Technical Documentation: Ability to write comprehensive technical designs for complex systems.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
