Flex is a payment platform for businesses to accept HSA/FSA cards, offering a prebuilt, hosted checkout page or UI building blocks to integrate HSA/FSA payments directly into existing flows. As an early-stage startup backed by Y-Combinator and other notable investors, Flex is on a mission to unlock the $120B sitting in HSA/FSA accounts.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our founding team and drive the future of HSA/FSA Payments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about building innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to building the highest converting HSA/FSA checkout experience.
- Develop simple and elegant APIs for seamless integration with Flex.
- Design and develop scalable solutions for HSA/FSA payment infrastructure.
- Lead technical efforts on in-house Telehealth as a service.
- Interact directly with customers to help define the future roadmap.
- Work with technologies such as NextJS, Rust, Typescript, Postgres, Redis, and AWS.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies.
- Proficiency with Typescript, React, and other web technologies.
- Experience with backend languages, particularly Rust.
- Hands-on experience deploying to AWS Cloud infrastructure.
- Previous startup experience, ideally at a seed through series B startup.
