The Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Future, you will be instrumental in shaping the architecture and driving the implementation of our core services and user-facing features. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain APIs for new and existing products.
- Optimize database performance and manage microservices architecture using Docker.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment of services.
- Participate in on-call rotations to handle critical issues.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in backend development, particularly with Go, AWS, Docker, and Postgres.
- Strong understanding of API development and microservices.
- Proven track record in software quality assurance, including testing and monitoring.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic startup environment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range: $138,000 - $193,000 per year plus equity.
