Job Overview
Join Meta's Reality Labs team as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Computer Vision. This role is pivotal in developing innovative hardware and software that redefine human interaction with technology, focusing on augmented and virtual reality. Responsibilities
- Apply AI and machine learning techniques to develop advanced visual systems.
- Drive the AI strategy, setting and executing roadmaps for projects extending beyond six months.
- Define and oversee projects, guiding junior engineers towards achieving impactful results.
- Develop novel, accurate AI algorithms for large-scale applications.
- Evaluate and enhance the performance of existing AI models.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in developing computer vision algorithms or infrastructure using C/C++ or Python.
- Expertise in one or more areas: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, AR/VR, 3D Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, or AI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distributed systems or on-device algorithm development.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
- Contributions to AI publications.

Compensation
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,670 to $208,000 per year, along with bonuses, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits package.
