About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer in Computer Vision at Reality Labs, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative technologies that bridge the physical and digital worlds. Your work will focus on creating advanced visual systems that enhance user experiences across Meta's platforms.
Responsibilities
- Apply AI and machine learning techniques to develop intelligent visual systems.
- Advance the state of AI for your projects, setting and executing roadmaps for long-term goals.
- Define and lead projects, providing direction to other engineers.
- Develop novel, accurate AI algorithms for large scale applications.
- Evaluate different approaches through methodical testing and analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with computer vision algorithms or infrastructure in C/C++ or Python.
- Expertise in one or more areas: Deep Learning, Computer Vision, AR/VR, 3D Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, or AI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distributed systems or on-device algorithm development.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
- Contributions to AI publications.
