About the Role
Peloton is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our E-commerce team to help scale our $1+ billion e-commerce channel. This role involves significant responsibility over the development of our Shop Platform, focusing on subscriptions and billing.
Responsibilities
- Develop UIs, APIs, and workflows for our shop platform, including product catalog management, checkout, cart, payment processing, promotion management, order processing, logistics, and reverse logistics.
- Guide technical strategy and excellence across teams to evolve our shop platform to best in class.
- Write understandable, testable code with an eye toward maintainability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with other engineers in pair programming, leading whiteboarding solutions, team discussions, and task breakdown.
- Drive architecture meetings and cross-team dependencies.
- Mentor other software engineers on technologies like Spring Boot, Kotlin, and microservices architecture.
You Bring to Peloton
- 7+ years of experience in building highly scalable software products and platforms.
- 3+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems.
- Passion for technology and continuous learning.
- Strong product and technical mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Bonus Points If You
- Have experience with cloud environments, e-commerce systems, and third-party payment gateways.
- Have worked on internationalization and localization of systems.
