Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer at Applecart, you will play a pivotal role in developing applications that our clients and internal teams use to power their strategic communications efforts. You will be responsible for building the business layer of Applecart’s Decision-Maker Marketing platform. This will involve building full-stack applications for the planning, configuring, and tracking of customer advertising audiences.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack applications
- Collaborate with a team of software engineers in a hybrid-remote environment
- Lead by example with design, refactoring, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Contribute to the design of complex systems such as SOAs
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, including front-end and back-end
- Strong computer science fundamentals and operational best practices (e.g., agile, “clean” code, test-driven development, CI/CD)
Preferred Qualifications
- Python as the preferred language
- AWS as the preferred cloud platform
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code
- Proficiency in React.js
