SeatGeek is on a mission to transform the live event experience, and we're looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Cloud Platform team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the systems that power SeatGeek's technology ecosystem. As a member of the Cloud Platform team, you will lead the development of cutting-edge technologies within our core compute, infrastructure as code, database, and network infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Software Engineering Mindset: Tackle SeatGeek’s unique scaling, workflow automation, and resilience challenges with a software engineer's approach.
• Golden Paths: Develop infrastructure solutions that accelerate our teams' ability to deliver features quickly and confidently.
• Developer Tools: Build and maintain tools for developers to observe applications and drive reliability initiatives.
• Networking Infrastructure: Engineer resilient and observable networking infrastructure supporting diverse workloads across multiple regions.
• Collaboration: Work with other departments to run production systems and deployments autonomously.
• Mentorship: Lead and mentor the team, becoming a force multiplier.
• On-Call Support: Participate in an on-call schedule to ensure our customers experience more live events.

What You Have

• Passion for Infrastructure: A love for building resilient infrastructure and a greater love for how it’s deployed and managed.
• AWS Experience: Familiarity with AWS services and environments.
• Kubernetes and Containers: Experience with Kubernetes, containers, and serverless compute platforms.
• Service Discovery: Knowledge of service discovery and routing between microservices.
• Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages, with Go experience as a plus.
• Database Experience: Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Configuration Management: Familiarity with configuration management systems and infrastructure as code.
• CI/CD: Experience with continuous integration, delivery, testing, and code deployment.
• Observability Tools: Use of observability tools to improve performance and forecast growth.
• Communication Skills: Ability to simplify complex topics for non-technical audiences.
• Team Commitment: Enjoy working with a diverse group and take pride in mentoring and learning from others.

Salary

The salary range for this role is €165,000 to €230,000 annually, based on experience and location.
