Position Summary
Join Walmart as a Senior Software Engineer in our Bentonville, AR location, where you will be a key player in developing backend and full stack solutions. This role is ideal for those who are intellectually curious about technology and strive for excellence. You will be part of the Sam's Tech Release Engineering team, focusing on creating a reusable CI/CD framework for Mobile Application Releases.
What You'll Do
- Develop and oversee a CI/CD framework for mobile applications.
- Manage small project teams, providing guidance and tools to achieve project goals.
- Design and code enterprise platforms and applications with a focus on quality and detail.
- Work with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, RDBMS, NoSQL, Python, and front-end technologies like React JS and React Native.
- Integrate Machine Learning and AI algorithms into applications and microservices.
- Ensure high standards of code quality and participate in code reviews.
About the Team
You will be part of a team responsible for providing high-quality, low-cost mission-critical services. The team handles complex problems across various stakeholders by delivering world-class services like Source to Contract, Procure to Pay for Goods Not for Resale, Business Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Networking, and Audits.
What You'll Bring
- A Master of Science in Computer Science or a Bachelor's degree with significant experience in software engineering.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, NodeJS, and experience with databases both RDBMS and NoSQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and understanding of microservices architectures and event-based systems like Kafka.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, unit testing, TDD, and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience in DevOps and production system operations.
