About The Team
The Experimentation team at Stripe builds UIs, libraries, and APIs for A/B testing, partnering with various teams to develop programs that improve safety and efficiency of code and model changes. Our focus is on scaling our infrastructure to support more teams and enhance the reach of experiments.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Software Engineer in Experimentation, you will:
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, PMs, and machine learning engineers.
- Develop and maintain A/B testing infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability and low latency of systems critical to business operations.

- Partner with teams across Stripe to develop experimentation programs.
- Build and maintain powerful, flexible, and user-friendly infrastructure for all experimentation.
- Meet stringent availability and latency requirements.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in running experiments or building experimentation platforms. You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at solving complex business problems.
Minimum Requirements
- At least five years of experience in software development for large scale distributed systems.
- At least two years of experience in running A/B tests or building experimentation platforms.
- Proven track record of managing operations for high availability, low latency systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deep familiarity with the data science of advanced experimentation, including multi-armed bandit testing.
