The Growth Data Engineering team at Stripe handles billions of dollars each year for hundreds of thousands of businesses worldwide. We are integral to the economic activities of one third of Americans who have interacted with Stripe over the past year.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Software Engineer in Growth Data Engineering, you will focus on managing business-critical data across the organization. Your role involves:
- Identifying data needs for various teams like Growth, Sales, and Marketing.
- Designing and developing scalable data pipelines and data products.
- Collaborating with Data Science to apply statistical models for intelligent decision-making.
- Ensuring data accuracy and integrity in our data warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage data pipelines and infrastructure using tools like Spark, Scala, Python, SQL, Presto, and Airflow.
- Develop full stack web applications to support data-driven decision making.
- Enhance data marts and integrate various data sources to provide comprehensive business insights.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet their data needs and support data-driven strategies.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in data engineering. You possess:
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in distributed data frameworks and scientific computing languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen interest in resolving data inconsistencies.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively across teams.

Pay and Benefits
- Competitive salary range of $136,800 - $244,700 annually.
