Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack), you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing user-focused solutions across our digital real estate ecosystem. You will work within diverse, cross-functional teams to develop large-scale, performant software solutions on AWS, utilizing our microservices architecture. Your expertise in Java or Kotlin and TypeScript will be crucial as you build efficient backend logic and collaborate with UX specialists to integrate features into user-facing applications using React.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy large-scale software solutions on AWS.
- Utilize Java or Kotlin for Spring-based applications and TypeScript for serverless applications.
- Collaborate with UX specialists to implement features into user-facing applications.
- Adhere to the "You build it, you run it" philosophy, taking ownership of the development cycle.
- Mentor junior team members and promote high-quality engineering principles like clean code, pair programming, continuous delivery, and test-driven development.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Extensive experience in full stack software development.
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, React, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Spring Security and authentication flows such as OAuth2 and OpenID.
- Familiarity with AWS and infrastructure as code concepts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team.
