About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer at CodiLime, you will be instrumental in developing user-facing applications in the networking area, driving them to wide market adoption. You will work within a self-sufficient team located in Poland and the East Coast of the USA, collaborating closely with product managers, front-end developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams. Our client's representatives are located on the East and West coasts of the US.
Responsibilities
- Work in a SCRUM framework, collaborating with the rest of the team.
- Propose new solutions and drive improvements.
- Implement new features and extend/improve existing ones.
- Develop unit tests.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Python.
- Experience with Django Rest Framework.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux.
- Experience in RESTful API integration and development.
- Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git).
- English proficiency (B2+ level).
- Experience with at least one of the public clouds (GCP/AWS/Azure).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, mainly GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of database technologies (MySQL & PostgreSQL), and web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx).
- Experience in front-end technologies, specifically HTML5, CSS3, vanilla JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Experience with other front-end frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Angular).
- Ability to collaborate in distributed teams.
