About the Role
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer on the Core Engineering team at AppOmni, you will play a crucial role in developing major components of our SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) platform. You will work closely with technical leadership to design and develop key areas of the codebase that support security monitoring and management of SaaS platforms, as well as remediation workflows to help customers improve their security posture.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of significant engineering decisions and implement technology to enhance the security of enterprise SaaS deployments.
- Design and develop scalable and secure backend systems using Python and Django.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate external APIs and enhance platform capabilities.
- Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills.
- A quality-oriented approach to building and testing applications, including strong unit testing capabilities.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Python 3 and Django.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience, including object-oriented design and data structure design.
- An interest in data, security, and data security.
- Experience with Kubernetes, GKE, and Postgres is a plus.
- Experience deploying and maintaining production applications in IaaS platforms.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: The annual base salary range in the U.S. for this role is $142,800.00 - $196,350.00 USD.
