Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at Ilkari, you will lead the development and integration of our Customer Portal, unifying our core products into a seamless, customer-focused experience. This role involves both backend and frontend development to deliver scalable, efficient solutions that integrate domain management, cloud services, and billing systems. You will work in a fast-paced, agile environment to create impactful and intuitive user experiences that elevate our product ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead backend development for the Customer Portal using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework, focusing on scalable API creation.
• Design and implement responsive frontend interfaces using Angular to enhance usability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop features that deliver a cohesive user experience.
• Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
• Optimize the Customer Portal for performance, scalability, and user satisfaction.
• Solve complex technical challenges across frontend and backend development.
• Document technical processes and share knowledge within the team.

What We Are Looking For

Technical Skills

• Strong backend development expertise with Python, Django, and Django REST Framework.
• Proficiency in frontend development using Angular for interactive interfaces.
• Experience with API design and integration for customer-focused applications.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitLab CI).

Soft Skills

• Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
• Leadership skills to mentor and foster a collaborative engineering culture.

Experience and Education

• 7+ years of experience in software development, with expertise in Django and Angular.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
