About the Role
Reddit is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to support our rapidly growing advertising business. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for solving complex technical issues, coordinating communication with stakeholders, and creatively identifying solutions to systemic problems. You will partner with our Sales organization to remove technical and business-related obstacles, advocate for customer interests, and create compelling technical content.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain in-depth knowledge of our advertising platform, from ad creation to predictive modeling, delivery, auctions, and attribution.
- Identify root causes for poor performing creatives, low fill rates, or other revenue-harming incidents.
- Ensure the success of customer POCs through effective management of success criteria, planning, and execution.
- Advocate customer interests and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
- Maintain awareness of internal roadmap and new product features to evangelize with sales/customers.
- Influence the improvement of Solutions Engineering processes and practices.
- Work with the Ads Engineering team to define the next generation architecture for applications.
- Review existing documentation and test cases, contributing to the evolution of testing strategies.
- Leverage communication skills to articulate solutions to complex problems to various stakeholders.
Required Experience/Qualifications
- 6-10 years’ experience in AdTech/MarTech at a top-line publisher, DSP, SSP, Ad Network, or Ad Agency.
- Strong technical background with experience in web development, mobile development, ETL concepts, and high availability systems.
- Development experience in Java, Javascript, Go, Node, Python, React.
- Understanding of log parsing, device logs, API response codes, and related technologies.
- Proficiency with big data visualization tools like DataDog, Tableau, and working knowledge of SQL, BigQuery.
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
- Command-line expertise with Linux or UNIX.
- Background in product development, management, or technical pre-sales of digital advertising technology.
