About the Role
Sensor Tower is looking for a Senior Staff Back End Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is looking to make a significant impact on our product development. As a Senior Staff Back End Engineer, you will be involved in the full development lifecycle, from design and implementation to quality testing and release.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full development lifecycle, including design, implementation, quality testing, and release.
- Develop and optimize high-performance data aggregation and analysis pipelines at scale.
- Work closely with the Product team to deliver innovative solutions, optimize existing systems, and add new features.
- Minimize errors and repetitive human effort through automation.
- Collaborate with a global engineering team to drive value and impact business decisions.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Strong foundation in programming, algorithms, and software application design.
- Solid understanding of RESTful systems and principles of good API design.
- Proficiency in one or more modern software languages (Go, Scala, Java, C++, C#, Ruby, Python).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with system software development and mobile app development.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis.
- Familiarity with Microservices, Big Data, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
